Lambsquarters (Chenopodium album) is a rapidly growing summer annual that can reach 6 feet in height and is adaptable to most environmental conditions. Erect stems branch freely and are often reddish or striped with pink, purple, or yellow.

Managment:
- Mulch and pre-emergent herbicides prevent seed germination, while tillage and post-emergent herbicides destroy plants.
